IN JAPANESE W/ ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!! Dr. Sanada is surrounded by a cesspool a garbage - polluted water, mosquitoes and the yakuza which he refers to as "human trash". Sanada is hot tempered and he loves to drink every chance he gets. Tuberculosis runs rampant and one such patient, Matsunaga - a member of the yakuza, the doctor has taken a special bond to. He warns the gangster that he WILL DIE if he doesn't change his lifestyle. Will Matsunaga heed to Sanada's warning?

Subject: More like NOSE BLOWED!!!!!
The main cahracter got turberculosis and died so that wasn't very cool but overall pretty good movie could use more guys slipping in white paint and insie white paint slipping and also naked.

This movie is an excellent look at men and woman's different sides in gangland madden post war Japan. The story dissects the yakuza, a mentality centred in feudal Edo period ethics and how that mentality dominates and the lives of the sufferer's and all around. The characters frequently return to the sump swap at the centre of a rickety ghetto, a personification of a world ridden with sickness around them.
